Creating Projects

After you have registered an account, a demo project will be created for you. You can use this project to try out all features of Olivia. If you want to use Olivia for your own projects, you have to create a new project.

Step-by-step guide

This documentation is designed as a step-by-step guide to help you set up your project. We simplified setting up new projects as much as possible. After all, you want to focus on your project and not on the software.

  1. Create a new project
    To create a new project, click on "Create New Project" in the menu. You will be asked to enter a name for your project. You can change this name at any time later.
  2. Configure your project
    Every new project starts with the onboarding process to make sure you have everything you need to start your project. You need...
    • Modes
      Modes are the different types of bookings (focus groups, in-depth interviews etc.).
    • Products
      Products are the items you want your respondents to evaluate (e.g. different types of cars).
    • Slots
      Slots are the time slots for your respondents and can be assigned to modes and products.

After setting up the basic configuration, you can add team members, add a questionnaire, customize the PDF invitation, and start recruiting.

  1. Invite team members
    Invite your team members to your project and start working together on your project.
  2. Project messages
    Add project messages to inform your team members about important changes in your project.
  3. Add questionaire
    You can add your questionaire to your project. All questions will be exported to Excel.
  4. Customize PDF invitation
    Customize the PDF invitation for your respondents. You can also add a QR code for check-in and check-out if you have on-site appointments.
  5. Check-in and QR Code
    Quickly check in and check out participants using QR codes on their PDF invitation, streamlining the on-site process and reducing manual errors.
  6. View statistics
    Get all the information you need about your project at a glance.
  7. Export to Excel
    You can export all data to Excel at any time. This way you can easily import the data into your analysis software.
